I found that when I sat through staff meetings at my day job, I’d doodle all around the edges of my notepad, eclipsing my notes from each meeting. Some were kind of cool, so I got a little moleskine sketchbook, and started drawing in that instead.
It was both astonishing and depressing. Astonishing, because it filled up so fast. Depressing, because the only time I drew in it was in staff meetings, and it filled up so fast.
Life is too short to have lots of meetings.
